WORST Contractor in town, bar none.

My experience with NYKB was pure hell.The quality of work was truly awful (tiles facing IN toward the wall; dropped ceiling and a new wall that MOVES; wrong colors and paint finishes used--sometimes on the same wall for a very weird tone on tone effect; electrical not to code; phone and cable done so poorly they don't work--so baseboards (which were repainted by non-NYKB contractors) have to be pulled up. And that's only part of it...Management is truly obnoxious and rude. The only thing done quickly (or properly) is the cashing of checks. The workers don't speak English (or pretend not to) and haven't a clue what they're doing. Management ILLEGALLY did not place my advances in escrow nor protected it with a bond, so ZERO incentive for them to do even a half decent job or finish the work they were contracted to do.Total idiot of a 'designer'. Couldn't measure to save her life (several inches out in many cases) and caused us lots of grief. Not only that, she was snotty about her many errors and tried to blame them on us?!?! Biggest crew of con artists around; stay away.
